Here we are!!! It's the week of TOTW Golf Classic. Anticipation has grown to a fever pitch.
Update on the particulars:
Cocktail & Pairings Party Friday, May 7th. 6pm on the Commish's deck. Check with Fritz for directions. Enjoy some pre-tourney cocktails while your captains match pairings. Find out who you'll be playing with and in which format.
Saturday, May 8 Tournament. 1st tee time is at 9:30am SHARP! Please be at Heritage Shores by 8:30am. Please also try to be unloaded by 8:30am so you have time to warm up, we have time to get bags on right carts, and opening ceremonies.
After 27 furious holes closing ceremonies will be back on Commish deck. I asked once before (and got 0 responses) Please comment on whether you're coming and if your girlfriend, wife, etc...is also coming. I NEED TO KNOW WHAT TO BUY AND HOW MUCH FOODDDDDDD!
Don't forget to wear your team's colors for the tournament. Looks count!

As of right now we have obtained a babysitter for the evening and my wife will be attending the post party celebration.

ReplyDeleteWhere is this trophy being stored after this weekend? You need a trophy case in the front room of Nationwide with the trophy and a picture of Team Teeter Totter(the winning team)
ReplyDeleteTrophy is the responsibility of the winning team capt. If cannot be produced for next event, then has to be replaced.
ReplyDeleteI'll make sue I get about 6 burgers, because it seems like the only ones in r myself, The Buck, Mass-Debator, Da Booth and The Buck's wife. Everyone else is too cool to respond as asked.
Captains....your responsibility to make sure your team is ready for an 8:30am arrival with a 9:30am start.
It is not my responsibility to make sure anyone is their on time. They are grown men and should be able to take care of themselves. I am going to have a hard enough time getting myself their on your deadline.
ReplyDeleteDont you work with like a quarter of the field playing this weekend and you havent talked to them to see if they are coming, come on now just have a office meeting and make them tell you then. As for Bottle Service i asked him last night and got a surprising I DONT KNOW! so i tried to help with that one but got nowhere, im sure though it will be just him if he comes.
If people on here dont respect the commish enough to respond to his questions then you should go Roger Goodell on them and suspend their ass.
I will be there by myself. Please everyone respond... so that the panties that are in a bunch under the comish's taint do not get to a point where they cause him any undue discomfort. And DA BOOTH you're right we work with him, but apparrently yeah i'll be there isn't enough.

Does anyone have any idea what if anything they are bringing? I am up for anything, but don't want to double up on anything if we can avoid it. And I really would like to avoid any type of suspension and/or fine. I guess we are lookin at side dishes, chips, dips etc... I was thinkin of bringin some baked beans, good ones not mixed shitty ones.

ReplyDeleteYou may not think so, but I have gone to a lot of planning and also when it comes to food I don't think I'm asking a lot to know how much to buy... Sorry it's not your money, but it is mine! I also don't skimp on a party, so not buying enough is a concern...for me. I like to make sure people have a good time.
Also, with the format, if 1 person decides not to come that blows a hole in the whole thing. 1 depends on the other 11 and 11 depends on 1. Sorry, but that's the way it is! I have a hard time understanding how something can be planned and then have someone decide not to show??? Guess I'm dense like that.
Sorry you think the shirt color was gay. Just thought it would be kinda cool and add some flair. If that's gay then I'm gay.
Anyway, I ask for your help any way you can. I ask you to find out from Bottle if he is playing or not and let me know....at least I can find a replacement if needed. (I hope not as I would like him to play) I will make sure and ask those I see in the office...
I look forward to seeing you at Friday nights selection party and for the competition Saturday. If team captain was easy, everybody would want to be one!

ReplyDeleteI spoke to CHIEF77 and he said he will be coming "solo" to the post tourney celebration.
As of right now Motorman should be attending with Motorwoman.
Can't speak for Frank the Tank but as I understand it you may or may not work with him? I have no contact info for him other than this Blog.
I will contact my dark horse (The Chicken Hawk) and remind him of everything. If we go with past history, I doubt he will be bringing anyone.
And I assume you will be attending and will take account your guest(s).
As for my brother(s)... I apologize for their resistance. They like to purposely make everything difficult for some unknown reason. I guess they get their jollies off that way?
Buck... I remember, after talkin to Fritzy, who The Chicken Hawk is. He will be a funny addition to the team, and quite competitive.

ReplyDeleteAs for bottle service i was talking about the dinner afterwards, since that was the question you asked which you did not ask anything about golf. He will be their for golf, he just hasnt answered yet for dinner. So the formats will be fine.
As for the gay shirts, i believe that was a joke i made on facebook but if you want to cry about that it is fine i will take how upset that made you and appologize.
As for being a Captain and not involved, i have or we speak to my team about being their, although i dont know, or atleast dont know i know 2 of them so it would be hard for me to talk to them.
I am sorry you got upset over my post, it was actually a shot at everyone for not responding to you not at you for being upset, but i know im not allowed to explain what i ment on here so for that im sorry The Buck.

And Fritz im sorry for any mis understanding that may have occured, and if you could make a list of things you think we should bring like Rollin said so maybe we can break it up.
