This is it! Opening day college football 2009. Home vs. Nevada.
Yes, Nevada has a powerful offense. Yes, ND has had trouble stopping people on D over the past few seasons. We've all been looking forward to that dominating defensive game where ND shutouts an opponent.
But if Nevada wants a shootout, here it comes. Clausen is now a junior. He should be better. Armando Allen needs to step up. Fullback is a question mark. Weis needs to get the fullback more physical. Golden Tate should be going deep to stretch the "D". Let's establish a running game for once. Cannot throw it 50 times against USC and be succesfull. It starts now!
Button up, pull it down, click it tight! Todays the day of a new season.

ReplyDeleteNice game today. Prepping Mark May for a lynching. Maybe Corso can help. Not bad on offense...but defense needs to step up and cover and be better against the run.
